Genetics Lecture for 5th & 6th Years

Dr.John Williams is a past pupil of Pres (2003), his inspirational Lecture was at a level all students could understand. It touched on the recent advances that genetics has made into the editing of the human genome, citing 2018 in China where twins born by IVF were edited without their parents knowledge for resistance to HIV.

This sparked questions, many of which were in the area of Bioethics & the questioning of where society wants to go with this research in terms of allowing designer babies or eugenics?
